This qualification reflects the role of individuals who service, diagnose and repair battery electric vehicles and components in the automotive, service and repair industry who carry out work according to Australian Standards (AS) 5732 Electric vehicle operations – Maintenance and repair.

Students will need to successfully complete all units in this course to receive certificate of AUR32721 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Vehicle Technology. Learners who partially complete the qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units they are deemed competent.
Further training pathways from this qualification include AUR40612 Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology or other relevant qualifications.
