Genuine Temporary Entrant Requirement (GTE) Form
Genuine student is someone who has real intentions to study only and who intends to obtain an education degree from an Australian education provider. Factors that are considered under the existing requirement to be a genuine applicant for entry and study as a student include: English language proficiency, financial capacity, prerequisite schooling. Age requirements, and intention to comply with visa conditions.
Student are requested to provide a statement or/and answer the following parameters in the application to satisfy the requirement of following criteria of GTE: The applicant’s circumstances in their home country The applicant’s potential circumstances in Australia The value of the course to the applicant’s future The applicant’s immigration history Any other relevant matters Applicant personal statement must be in English addressing the GTE requirement. Where an applicant is not comfortable writing their statement in English, it can be written in their own language, however, a translated copy must be submitted. An applicant can provide details within the application form, or attach a written statement along with supporting documents. 10. Has the Applicant (or any of their spouse, dependent(s) ever been refused an entry visa to any country? If yes, provide evidence
11. Provide evidence that you are potential of fulfilling your obligations towards course fee, living expenses and travel expenses?
12. Does the Applicant understand their work rights while studying in Australia on a Student Visa? 40 hours per fortnight during study periods and unlimited work rights during semester breaks?
13. Does the Applicant understand that earnings from part-time work are only to be used to supplement their living costs and must not be the primary source of income with which to pay tuition fees?
14. Are there any reasons to doubt the Applicant's education or employment history? If yes, please provide evidence
15. Does the Applicant understand that their student VISA application may be rejected if they do not pass the checks of Department of Home Affairs Australia on: - Health and character - GTE - Do not abide by the conditions of VISA - Discontinue enrolment inregistered course - Do not maintain satisfactory course progress in each study period
