Reducing the transmission of COVID-19

Government health authorities recommend following the below measures to reduce the transmission of diseases and viruses, including coronavirus:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing.
    Dispose of used tissues in the nearest bin and wash your hands thoroughly.
  • Avoid close contact with anyone who has a fever or cough.
  • If you or anyone you know is feeling unwell, please arrange to see a doctor and do
    not attend university.
  • If you feel unwell and have recently traveled or have had close contact with a confirmed
    case in the 14 days before the becoming unwell, seek immediate medical attention.
    Make sure you notify your doctor in advance so precautionary measures can be taken
    ahead of your arrival.
